Steel framed homes for Trinidad and Tobago

Hurricane winds, salt air and termites are the three things a Caribbean house has to survive. A galvanised steel frame answers all three.

Why steel in the Caribbean

Timber frames lose to termites and humidity, and heavy masonry is slow and expensive to import. A light gauge galvanised frame is dimensionally stable, is not food for insects, and its bolted connections are designed for the wind loads of the island rather than for a generic average.

Turkish steel

Turkish steel is used across the region for a simple reason: consistent quality at a competitive price. We roll the profiles for the frame and galvanise them before the building leaves the factory.
